Subject: Vector 10 foot, 14 gauge, hydraulic folding machine
Designed for the rugged needs of the sheet metal business, the Vector is the only hydraulic folding machine in the 10 foot market segment. The Vector 12014 allows you to fold 14 gauge material, and will cost you 50% less than the average 14 gauge machine. Owning a Vector folding machine means you’ll have the most clamping power available, as well as the capability to fold heavier parts. The standard 1.75 box and pan tooling gives you the ability to make shallow boxes and façade panels.
Engage offers one of the widest lines of folding machines in the business, with machines from 4 to 13 feet in length, at the most affordable prices anywhere.
The Vector has a solid sheet metal frame, heavy duty backgauges and adjustable folding beams. It is controlled by the AMS XL250, a state-of-the-art unit manufactured in the United States. Operated through a touch screen, the AMS XL250 has 100 pre-loaded icon profiles that are common in the metal roofing industry. All of these profiles are American parts that have been optimized for the fastest and most ergonomic run sequence. In addition, it’s a simple process to create a part from scratch if desired.
The most popular machine is the Vector 12014, 14 gauge, 121 folder, which comes standard with a 30 frequency inverter driven backgauge. Twin ball screws and 1.25 Thompson linear rails insure that the back gauge stays square over time. The backgauge has 10 hardened steel fingers with spring tension so that they drop down when clamped, which produces a mark-free product.
