SSI is a leader in the shredding industry, and the Model 3400E is a powerful machine that holds up to that standard. This machine is an electric shredder with a 200hp electric motor. The cutting chamber is 45 x 75, so it’s a great machine for car and light truck tires, as well as semi truck tires. This machine has been rebuilt in our shop so it is ready to go to work. All new gears, bearings and seals have been installed. The knives have been rebuilt and hard faced, and the shafts have been re-machined. In addition, the control panel has been completely rebuilt. It has a brand new, custom built stand, in-feed conveyor and out-feed conveyor. This is a very robust machine that will do 800 car tires or about 100 truck tires an hour. A great addition to any tire shredding business. This machine can also be set up as a 2 chip producing system.
