Brand new IR dryer for offset sheetfed presses. These are heavy duty and boast 6000 watts of Infrared drying (Or More). These units will fit any chain delivery press 26" or smaller (larger press sizes available). Shown is a dryer head for a 25" press and the matching controller. The control panel is heavy duty and has an 30 amp 220 single phase breaker built in. Easy installation...All wiring is done from factory and the only connections you need to make are the 2-leads to your press impression and run circuits(pic shown) and the main power to breaker panel(shown). Bolt in dryer and make the simple wiring connections and you just double your production and improved your quality dramatically. I was a commercial printer for 20 years. We were a 26" format shop and had several Advertising agencies as clients and they were always pushing the envelope when it came to quality. I installed my first IR Dryer on a modified Harris LXK, low pile delivery in 1992. The first thing I noticed was the immediate drying of the solids I was running when samples were pulled from the delivery. The next thing I noticed was the same day turnaround on jobs we always left overnight to dry. Then jobs that we struggled with, and marking from seconds passes were eliminated. Though I had 6 duplicators, my LXK was our only press to run 4-color process and it was a single color. I have personally run on jobs, however my greatest pleasure came from the lack of offsetting, marking, down times, and quality issues. To pass the work back through press immediately with no-worries help us focus on the job's spec's and not what was going wrong.
