These images are looking from either side of the engine end.
These images are from the pump and controls end.
The indicator lights and interlocks work to the extent that we have tested them.
This unit shows only 202 hours. The last 2 were added by us as we tested the unit.
The gauge below shows the hydraulic system pressure which is roughly ratioed to the output pressure. We put a precision high pressure gauge on the output of the water and got a top reading of 38,000 psi at slightly under 3000 psi hydraulic pressure. We did not take the time to try to figure out how to tweak the hydraulic pressure up to a full 3000 psi which would likely result in 40,000 psi. The knob to the right adjusts the hydraulic pressure to the pump which in turn determines how hard the quad high pressure pumps push.
The image above shows the dual outputs for the high pressure water. There is a reducer in the one for applications where maximum pressure is needed but not maximum flow. Note that the high pressure lines and fittings are 60,000 psi rating class. This takes a very special type of lines and fitting as well as knowledge and care in how to connect them. Also not that all lines have secondary containment so that if a hole should occur in the primary line, personnel should not be subject to direct jet of high pressure water which would instantly slice though a person's body.
The images below show the hydraulic connections. The hydraulics are used to power things like the circle cutter and the rotating-jets gun/wand.
Power comes from a 204 horsepower KHD Deutz 6-cylinder Diesel turbo-charged air-cooled engine Model BF6L413 FR
The image above show the Turbo side of the engine. The yellow pump provides pressure and circulation for the supply water.
These images show the pumping section. The hydraulic pump is the blue behind the filters to the left of the image above. The quad pressure amplifier pumps are the circular units at the top. In the image below, the hydraulic reservoir is lower right (light gray with black access cover). The fuel tank is at the very bottom (seems to hold something on the order of 100 gallons or more).
Note counting the rather substantial lifting rings, the engine and pump unit is just over 10 feet by 5 feet by 7 feet to the top of the exhaust.
There are a significant number of spare parts as indicated below. These go with the different units as best we can sort out what they belong to.
The image above is a spare RACINE hydraulic pressure regulator rated to 3000 psi. It is what determines the pressure the hydraulic pump puts out and in turn what the maximum blaster pressure is.
The image below is a spare system interlock/controller.
The small box above has a variety of lubricants that we don't really know the application of.
The box below has a few fittings.
The box above has a few high pressure (60K) fittings. The one to the upper left looks like a spare for the end of the gun with the aspirator hose on it. There is a substantial quantity of seals and other small parts as shown below.
The image above shows the spare electrical parts, including sensors.
The image below shows a couple of spare hydraulic quick connects.
The image above shows a box of spare filters left after we changed most everything out.
These images show a significant collection of nozzle related parts. These go with the guns and circle cutter.
The image above shows a cap type single hole nozzle.
The image below shows a sample of the many tube type nozzles that would be used with abrasive for cutting.
These images show the circle cutter. It is hydraulic driven. The high pressure tube shown held vertically at the end of the arm gets a nozzle fitted to the bottom end and the pressure line fitted to the other end. The arm slides in and out for positioning with respect to the unit.
The arm is connected to the appropriate spots on the wheels for the size of circle desired. 10" looks to be the maximum hole size. The obvious application for this would be cutting holes in pavement or concrete for water valve access.
Note the adjustable feet on the unit so you can readily make it level (or not). The pair of hydraulic lines fitted to it in these images are about 50 feet long as shown below. The can also be used in conjunction with the 30 foot lines already on the rotating nozzle gun to get further from the power unit. (We do not have separate high pressure hose for the circle cutter.-use hose from one of the guns.)
These images show the single fixed nozzle abrasive jet cutter gun. It has a big trigger with safety interlock. The big trigger is important because the person operating this needs to be bundled up in thick protective gear. Again, the handle is designed such that it covers the valving mechanism and line connections as protection against a line leak. (The orange hose is an outer protective containment the both protects the user from a high pressure leak and the high pressure line from damage.
The image above shows the nozzle holder and abrasive aspiration line (short plastic tube).
In the image below you see the consumable nozzle. Various hole sizes provide for different combinations of pressure versus flow rate.
This gun currently has 25 feet of high pressure safety contained hose attached. This hose can readily be taken off and attached to something else or used to lengthen the other pressure hose.
These images are of the rotating multi-nozzle gun. In addtition to the high-pressure double contained line coming into the valve/trigger section on the left, there are also a supply and return hydraulic line that power the nozzle rotation motor. There is a shoulder strap to assist holding the unit when operating for extended periods. The white section is a cup the slides down over the nozzle so that the head can be placed very close to a surface yet the spray is confined from ricochet.
The nozzle head (pointed to the left here) contains a number of nozzles. The head rotates, providing a moving nozzle stream pattern that is often more effective than a larger stationary stream when cleaning. Again, this would normally be covered by the white cup when in operation.
This gun currently has 50 feet of high-pressure line and 30 feet of hydraulic lines attached. These lines can be used on other items such as the circle cutter to get greater length if needed.
The trailer is just under 8 feet wide and the deck is 20 feet long. The deck is steel grate as anything else would be just about impossible given the typical wet slippery environment when using equipment like this. Lights and breaks are nominally included but would need to be wired to fit your pulling vehicle. The trailer does not have a title as it is part of what is considered equipment in this state.
The forklift shown holding/towing the unit here can be had for an additional $2500 (it would take about 10X that for the Porsche in the background).
These images show what the single nozzle can do, even without abbrasive.
The image below is virgin concrete block.
The image below shows what a few seconds of blasting with the high pressure single nozzle gun did. I did not have protective gear on and was waving the gun all over as I was flinching from material flying out. Had I been able to hold steady, I would have blasted a hole right through this concrete.
