The movable heat-treated steel blade's path is precisely limited, resulting in a .125" jaw gap, thereby minimizing the risk of severing an already damaged line. For increased safety, any over-pumping activated a unique Pressure Relief Bypass System without reducing pressure on the pipe itself. The Huskie's latched lower jaw and 90 degree swivel head are able to navigate the tightest areas of the trench while the steel-wire centering whiskers and non-conductive fiberglass insulated handles ensure a swifter, safer squeeze-off every time. When the job is completed all 18 tons of compressive force dissipates with a slight turn of the release knob.
