It incorporates six specially designed hydrostatic bearings to provide oveturning moment restraint and Phase error constraint to a 2 shaker 90,000 F-lb (400kN0 system. The system utilizes an automatic centering system for load support of the test article and platform. One set of bearings is attached to a static mass to provide a single degree of freedom constraint, while the other bearing assembly is attached to the slip table to provide a two degree of freedom constraint. This configuration allows for the thermal expansion of the test platform without exceeding th eless tham 001 in (0.25mm) bearing tolerance. |
