The platen can be removed for slack-belt grinding, and contact grinding can be performed on either the 2" or 5" wheels. A wider variety of abrasives is available by using spray adhesive and 9" x 11" wet or dry sanding sheets. Additional disk plates are available for changing grits quickly. The removable work table can be adjusted from 45 to 90 degrees and also accommodates the miter attachment.
