Subject: Clothing line business-name, domain, all raw materials
Attention seamstresses/entrepeneurs!
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY AND FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS! :)
This listing is for the entire Doodlewear Fashions Business and ALL of the clothing products and raw materials (fabrics, labels, accessories) related to sewing/clothing construction that are currently listed in my e-bay store. It also includes 1,000 woven clothing logo labels and 500 leather-like patch logo labels (for jeans, etc.). And finally, it includes a CD from my web designer that contains my previous site/page designs in an .asp format. Here's everything that's included:
* Pre-made denim bottoms: Skirts, capris, 2 styles of jeans (manufactured in India)...whatever is listed/left in my e-bay store at the time of purchase!
* Fabrics: Interlock knits (solid and tie dye), velvet, flannel, denim, waterproof breathable, cotton batik, lining, and more...everything that is listed/left in the store...and more that hasn't been listed yet!
* Fashion accessories: Beanie caps, socks
* Sewing accessories: Iron-on appliques
* Clothing design/manufacturing: Pattern design computer program, 4 types of woven clothing care labels (which meet all 3 government requirements for retail clothing sales-care, country of origin, and fiber content), woven logo labels with web address on the back, synthetic (leather-like) patch logo labels (like Levi's leather patch), and size tags in several half-sizes, all professionally manufactured...see pic for samples! Two specialty sizing charts are also included; sizing for young girls, sizes 8 1/2 to 20 1/2 and sizing for juniors, 15 1/2 to 25 1/2.
* CD with web design ideas and wording
* Logo/design rights: Current logo and additional (boys) logo
HISTORY: I previously had an on-line plus size girls clothing boutique, named, obviously "Doodlewear Fashions". I spent thousands of dollars and even more hours (it seems!) planning, purchasing, and designing...designing clothing ideas and designing (through a professional) a B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L website-in short, building a clothing "store" from the ground up. There was only one problem....I DON'T SEW! I was spoiled in the beginning of my venture with a very talented seamstress, who got the job offer of a lifetime and moved on. I never was able to find anyone who measured up to her level of talent and my expectations of quality and professionalism, so I sadly closed up shop and am liquidating my inventory. I should mention that QUALITY was very important to me, in every aspect of this business-fabrics, products, design, everything. I believe in quality!
ABOUT THE FABRICS: Whatever fabric is left in my e-bay store is included in this listing, so the longer it's listed, the less fabric will be included. Quality was very important to me and I was very careful to choose nice, soft fabrics, because they were to be used for childrens' clothing. MOST of the fabrics are on 5' ROLLS, not bolts.
ABOUT SIZING: I had two sizing charts, one for little/young girls and one for junior girls. The young girls' sizes ran from 8 1/2 to 20 1/2, and the junior girls ran from 15 1/2 to 25 1/2 (please note that the girls size chart can be seen on any current "Girls Plus Size Clothing" listing in my store). Ideally, these sizes would be input and saved in the pattern-making program for "ready to wear", non-custom projects, though a few additional measurements would need to be input, such as the back shoulder width, neck circumference, and sideseam length.
This specialty boutique was a dream of mine and a true labor of love. There are NOT enough fun fashions available "out there" for our little girls (and boys) who are plus size, and it seems that most of what is available is mini versions of adult plus size clothing-it is not fitted appropriately for a child's body (way too baggy from the rear to the knees) and the styles are not cute fashions similar to what other kids are wearing. Plus size kids deserve to have fun clothes too and it was my mission to respond to that need!
I hope this answers most or all of your questions, especially this one: WHAT THE HECK IS INCLUDED IN THE $6,000 PRICE TAG????! (I can tell you, it doesn't begin cover all of the hours I have in this business, LOL!) Don't be afraid to make me a (reasonable!) offer...I'm open to suggestions. I am happy to answer any questions or send any pics, fabric samples, or label samples that are requested. If you get this far....THANKS FOR LOOKING! :)
