Compound slide assembly made of cast iron for vibration damping, machined to accept twelve (12) station disk type turret with or without live tools.
The slides have low-friction, non-metallic way liners riding on automatically lubricated, hardened and ground inserted steel ways. The certical slide is hydraulically counter-balanced to minimize load on the ball screw and nut assembly and improve response.
American Standard Flange Nose, rigid alloy steel forging mounted in precision grease packed for life, angular contact ball bearings.
Frictionless triple dirt seal protects against dirt and coolant for trouble free operation.
PWM type regenerative drive with totally enclosed AC motor, air over motor cooling, complete failure protection, diagnostic indicators, speed regulation for operation on 480 volt, 3 pahse, 60 hertz, plus 10%, minus 5%, including transients with no frequency variation.
