Subject: Summit 3' arm x 8" column toolroom radial drill, 1970
1 (used) SUMMIT Model 3' arm x 8" diameter column with power elevation of arm on column. Machine will drill on a radius of 12" minimum to a radius of 40" maximum. The maximum height under the spindle is 48" minimum distance to base is 16-1/8". The 3 HP spindle has (12) speeds 69 to 2000 RPM and (3) power feed rates - .004, .008, .012 IPR. The spindle taper is a No. 4 MT and has 7" of travel. The base working surface is 20" x 35" and has T-slots. The plain box table is 18" x 21" and is machined on (2) faces. The machine is currently arranged for operation on 220-3-60 AC, but can be changed to 440-3-60 AC. It also includes a JACOBS drill chuck with wrench. The price includes loading on your flat bed truck. Machine weight is 3,000 lbs. Skidding and crating would be at an extra charge. Please call or email us directly for additional photos.
