The spindle taper must be R-8, # 9 Brown &Sharpe or # 30 MMT! ______________________________________________________ The following is a list of the services performed during the rebuild The mill base and head assemblies are disassembled, all parts inspected, defective items not already being replaced are repaired and/or replaced where necessary. All ways rescraped to new machine tolerances Quill surface is hard chromed and ground. Head bore for quill is lapped to fit the quill. Lead screws and nuts are replaced with new All ball bearings are replaced with new Spindle drive belts and brakes are replaced with new. Mill is reassembled, tested and inspected to meet new machine tolerances. _________________________________________________________ The following are not included in the rebuild price; Electrical work and motor repair Any repair or work on machine accessories including but not limited to Digital readouts, power feeds, coolant systems, etc.... _______________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________ The mill must be complete with all parts. All major castings must be in usable condition! ________________________________________________________________ Delivery is 4 - 6 weeks after your mill is received at our facility. |
